Deniz has a versatile international practice advising oil and gas companies, governments and state oil companies. With experience in Canada, Iraq, Namibia, Mexico, Tanzania and Turkey, she focuses on oil and gas joint ventures, farmouts and host government contracts. Deniz does not just work at a desk; she goes where the activity is, and has made over fifty trips to Iraq. She is also a specialist in anti-bribery compliance matters, and has provided training on anti-bribery programs to over 500 people on three continents. In 2016, she assisted Pemex in its first ever farmout, with the successful award in the Trion deep water offshore block in the Gulf of Mexico.

Deniz heads the London office of Park Energy Law. She is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and served as a Director between 2010-2013. Deniz has spoken and lectured at several conferences and workshops in London, Paris, Istanbul, Ankara and Erbil.
